The waiting time depends on how quickly our merchants process the transaction. The average balance crediting time is 10 minutes. If the waiting time exceeds several hours, we recommend contacting the technical support of the payment system you were using.

Do you have refunds?

  • Users can add funds in certain denominations (10, 25, 50 etc.) After adding funds to your CS-SKNS account, you may use these funds to purchase in-game items from CS-SKNS directly.
  • Funds from transactions that have been partially spent may not be available for refunds.
  • Once purchased, all products are non-refundable.
  • Deposits can only be eligible for refunds if it was caused by an error on the site's end. Please keep in mind that the refund process could take up to 14 days. Furthermore, a refund can only be made to the same payment provider that was used for your top-up. Each operator may charge additional fees.

What is 'float' and how does it affect my skin's appearance?

Float is a numerical value between 0 and 1 that determines the wear condition of your skin. Lower float values (closer to 0) indicate better condition. The five wear categories are:

  • Factory New (0.00-0.07): Minimal wear with the cleanest appearance
  • Minimal Wear (0.07-0.15): Slightly worn with minor scratches
  • Field-Tested (0.15-0.38): Noticeable wear and scratching
  • Well-Worn (0.38-0.45): Significant wear with obvious damage
  • Battle-Scarred (0.45-1.00): Heavily worn with maximum damage

Float can significantly impact both appearance and value, with lower float skins typically commanding higher prices.

How do skin patterns work and why are some patterns more valuable?

Patterns refer to the way colors and designs are distributed on a skin. Each skin has a pattern index number that determines its exact appearance. Certain patterns are considered rare or more desirable:

  • For example, Case Hardened skins with high amounts of blue ("blue gems")
  • Fade knives with specific color distributions
  • Doppler knives with rare ruby, sapphire, or emerald patterns

These special patterns can be worth significantly more than the same skin with a common pattern. When browsing our marketplace, you can see the pattern index for each item.

What are charms and how do I use them?

Charms are decorative items you can attach to your weapons to personalize them further. To use charms:

  1. Go to your inventory in CS2
  2. Right-click on the charm you want to use
  3. Select "Apply Charm"
  4. Choose which weapon you want to attach it to

You can remove and reapply charms at any time, and they don't affect the weapon's performance or damage the skin. We offer various charms on our marketplace that can be purchased separately from skins.

What's the difference between StatTrak™ and non-StatTrak™ skins?

StatTrak™ skins include a kill counter that tracks how many enemies you've eliminated with that weapon. These skins:

  • Display your kill count on the weapon itself
  • Generally cost more than their non-StatTrak™ counterparts
  • Retain their kill count even if traded to another player

The StatTrak™ feature doesn't affect gameplay but is popular among collectors and players who want to track their performance with specific weapons.

Trade Lock

What is Steam trade lock?

A trade lock is a restriction imposed by Steam on CS2 items. It typically lasts up to 8 days and is designed to prevent fraudulent item transfers to storage accounts. For cs-skns users this means you must wait for the trade lock to expire before transferring purchased items to your Steam inventory.

I accepted a trade with trade-locked items. How do I withdraw them?

When you accept a trade involving trade-locked items, you'll see them in your cs-skns inventory. A timer will indicate when the Steam trade lock expires, after which you can withdraw the items to your Steam inventory.

Does having Steam Guard enabled affect trade lock durations?

Steam Guard mobile authenticator is highly recommended, as it adds extra security to your account. Without it, you may face longer trade holds and restrictions. However, Steam guard does not prevent trade locks on newly traded items.

Buying

How to buy skins on CS-SKNS?

  1. Sign in with your Steam account and paste your trade URL if you haven't already done it.
  2. Deposit funds in your balance.
  3. From the main menu, navigate to the Market page.
  4. Select the items you want to purchase and add them to the cart.
  5. From the Cart page, click "Buy" next to the skin you would like to buy, and the trading bot will charge the required amount from your balance.
  6. To purchase items on our site, make sure that you have:
    • Public inventory in Steam
    • Correct trade URL

I have bought an item from CS-SKNS but can't find it on my Steam account

If you've purchased an item on CS-SKNS but can't find it on your Steam account, it should be visible in your Account Inventory page. Select the "Inventory" option from the left-side menu and then the "Active" tab to locate and transfer the item to your Steam account using the "Send" button.

How long does it take to transfer purchased items to my Steam account?

The delivery process begins as soon as you request to withdraw an item to your Steam account. Please note that you have only 10 minutes to accept or decline the trade offer on your Steam account.

How do I get paid when my skins sell?

When your skins sell, the funds are immediately credited to your account balance. From there, you can:

  1. Use the balance to purchase other skins on our marketplace
  2. Withdraw the funds to your preferred payment method.

When will my withdrawal reach my account?

The time it takes to receive your withdrawn funds depends entirely on your selected payment method. If you've chosen a bank transfer, please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to be credited to your account after we process your withdrawal request.

Is there a limit to how many skins I can sell at once?

There is no hard limit on the number of skins you can list simultaneously. However, new accounts may have initial selling limits that increase over time as you build a positive transaction history on our platform.
